The Piano Lesson

For this production of The Piano Lesson at McCarter Theatre, there was a prop requirement that the actor be able to fry bread on an already hot stove. I accomplished this by retrofitting a remotely controlled inductive burner into an antique stove. This gave the crew control of the temperature level while helping to protect the actor from dangerously hot surfaces. To celebrate the accomplishment, I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich.
